" Such a fantastic experience for our kids! They absolutely loved walking around the property capturing beautiful shots of nature or whatever interested them while learning about the basics of photography. We hung up the Polaroid photos in our room and got to enjoy the images during our stay. So cute! Lots of thanks to Laura for organizing such a very memorable event. Also-The  house made (in house) snacks were delicious! "

What does or time look like?

10:30 Parent Drop off

  1.  Group intros, chat about the rules of the area, safety of navigating with others.  After the safety chat, we will then talk and learn about the functions of Polaroid instant cameras and instant film. Get ready...We will put on our film apron and go on our walk.

10:50

2. As we walk around the designated areas, everyone will take note of what captures their eye. Whether it's a beautiful tree, the art installations, any animals and so forth. Keep talk low so we can hear each other! Take pictures! Six in total. As we snap and collect our instant images, we will place them in our aprons so that they can safely develop. We won't peak until we are all through taking pictures and back to our picnic area.

11:15

  1. Let's gather back at the picnic area and look at our pics!  Next it's time to take a picture of you! A fellow photographer will snap your picture!  Don't pull the portrait pictures from your apron until I call on you... Each person will get to share, one at a time. The last picture of the day will be of the great snack provided by a local restaurant.

11:30

  1. Cameras down… It's time to enjoy the food provided and socialize.

11:50
